Our rural gite is located in a typical village in the middle of fields and trees a few minutes from the town of Chartres (28). There are numerous footpaths through very varied landscape and vegetation. It is possible to reach Chartres and its cathedral (10 km away) on a bike via a marked cycle trail that runs along the Eure valley.

Situated as it is in the heart of a region very popular with tourists it is a good holiday location for visiting Paris, (50 minutes by car), Euro Disney (1 hour), Versailles (45 minutes), the castles of the Loire (1 hour 30 minutes). It’s ideal for combining the peace of the countryside, sporting activities – walking, cycling, fishing, golf, with visits to the high spots of world tourism.
